In Friday's league outing, the Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), by a count of 57-50.

The Trojans (15-16) will now prepare for their outing against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 17-11 record. In their last outing, Wheaton Academy held off Wauconda (Wauconda, IL), 77-67, in a non-league outing.

The Rockets now hold a 21-10 record. They play next when they travel to Marmion for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 21. Central will clash with a Cadets squad coming off a 67-59 non-league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Cadets record now stands at 14-17.
