The Middletown South Eagles basketball team (Middletown, NJ), was overwhelmed 72-47 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ)
The Golden Eagles now possess a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Egg Harbor Township for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 21. Central Regional will confront a Eagles team coming off a 95-75 non-league win over Cherokee (Marlton, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 6-21.
The Eagles (11-13) will now prepare for their battle against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves come into the non-league battle with a 15-10 record. In their last battle, Manalapan was overwhelmed by Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ), 54-47, in a non-league battle.
