Kansas High School Basketball - Field Kindley can't hold off Chanute

The Chanute Blue Comets basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Field Kindley Golden Tornado to 31 in the Blue Comets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Comets now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Independence for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Chanute will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 51-39 non-league win over Parsons (Parsons, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-14.
The Golden Tornado (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Fort Scott was nudged by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS), 72-68, in a non-league contest.
