McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Circle Thunderbirds (Towanda, KS), 76-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McPherson upgrades its record to 19-0 on the season. The Bullpups travel to Augusta (Augusta, KS) to clash with the Orioles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Orioles go into the bout with a record of 5-14. Augusta lost 57-42 in their recent non-league bout against Mulvane (Mulvane, KS)

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Winfield Vikings (Winfield, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail III challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Circle will attempt to improve on its 15-2 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 40-33 league loss to Buhler (Buhler, KS).
