Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Clackamas Cavaliers (Clackamas, OR), 70-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Gresham upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Gophers host David Douglas (Portland, OR) to play the Scots in a 6A Mt. Hood bout on Monday, February 19. The Scots go into the bout with a record of 12-9. David Douglas lost 88-50 in their recent league bout against Central Catholic (Portland, OR)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Clackamas will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 82-57 league win over Reynolds (Troutdale, OR).
