Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Plymouth Big Red (Plymouth, OH), 69-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Crestview upgrades its record to 20-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Western Reserve (Collins, OH) to play the Roughriders in a Firelands bout on Friday, February 23. The Roughriders come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Western Reserve lost 67-59 in their recent non-league bout against Edison (Milan, OH)

Next up, the Big Red play the Lucas Cubs (Lucas, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 17. Plymouth will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Cubs come into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 85-55 league win over Crestline (Crestline, OH).
