The Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI) basketball nipped the host Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI), 48-41 in Friday's league test.
The Cubans (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Lancaster (Lancaster, WI). The Flying Arrows go into the non-league test with a 11-12 record. In their last test, Lancaster was tipped by Platteville (Platteville, WI), 90-48, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fennimore for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities test on Thursday, February 22. Southwestern will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 50-39 league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-19.
