Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI) and the visiting Ovid-Elsie Marauders (Elsie, MI), saw Durand's basketball squad knock off Ovid-Elsie by a tally of 59-48.

With the victory, Durand improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Railroaders host Bentley (Burton, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-13.

Next up, the Marauders play the Hill-McCloy Rams (Montrose, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Wednesday, February 21. Ovid-Elsie will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record.
