In Friday's league outing, the Elk Mound Mounders (Elk Mound, WI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Elmwood/Plum City Wolves (Elmwood, WI), by a count of 77-39.

The Mounders (18-4) will now prepare for their outing against Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI). The Blackhawks go into the non-league outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, Baldwin-Woodville was crushed by St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI), 47-42, in a league outing.

The Wolves now hold a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cochrane-Fountain City for a non-league match on Monday, February 19. Elmwood/Plum City will face a Pirates team coming off a 87-57 non-league win over Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran (Eau Claire, WI). The Pirates record now stands at 16-6.
