Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Junction City Bluejays (Junction City, KS) and the host Emporia Spartans (Emporia, KS), saw Junction City's basketball squad overcome Emporia by a tally of 56-41.

With the victory, Junction City advances its record to 17-2 on the season.

The Spartans now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Paola for a non-league test on Thursday, February 22.
