The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears basketball team scored 95 points and restricted the host Philip Barbour Colts to 39 in the Polar Bears league victory on Friday.
The Polar Bears now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Fairmont Senior will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 81-71 league win over George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 15-6.
The Colts (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV). The Cougars come into the Big Ten contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Lincoln triumphed over Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV), 56-40, in a league contest.
