The Lowell Catholic Crusaders (Lowell, MA) basketball crushed the visiting Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons (Tyngsborough, MA), 83-56 in Friday's league test.
The Crusaders (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Lincoln-Sudbury walloped Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA), 57-48, in a league test.
The Gryphons now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Bellingham for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. Greater Lowell Tech will encounter a Blackhawks squad coming off a 66-65 league loss to Dedham (Dedham, MA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 6-13.
