Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS), 59-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hillsboro upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Trojans host Hoisington (Hoisington, KS) to play the Cardinals in a Central Kansas bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Hoisington won 60-47 in their recent league bout against Nickerson (Nickerson, KS)

Next up, the Lions play the Pratt Greenbacks (Pratt, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Lyons will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Greenbacks go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 51-30 non-league loss to Larned (Larned, KS).
