The Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) basketball felled the host James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD), 66-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Spartans (19-1) will now prepare for their test against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket thwarted Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD), 63-38, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sully Buttes for a non-league test on Saturday, February 17. James Valley Christian will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 67-60 league win over Faulkton (Faulkton, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 8-10.
