Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA), 63-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Twiggs County upgrades its record to 14-14 on the season. The Cobras travel to Hancock Central (Sparta, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a A D2 Region 5 bout on Saturday, February 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Hancock Central won 66-57 in their recent non-league bout against Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 17. Johnson County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-15 record after their 66-57 non-league loss to Hancock Central (Sparta, GA).
