The Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Carayiit basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Z John Williams Hawks to 46 in the Carayiit non-league triumph on Friday.
The Carayiit now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Akula Elitnaurvik for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial will meet a Tundra Foxes team coming off a 70-30 league win over Akiuk Memorial (Kasigluk, AK). The Tundra Foxes record now stands at 6-3.
The Hawks (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Akiuk Memorial (Kasigluk, AK). The Grizzlies enter the 1A Alaska Coastal contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Akiuk Memorial triumphed over Anna Tobeluk (Nunapitchuk, AK), 77-63, in a league contest.
