Pelham Pythons (Pelham, NH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Manchester West Blue Knights (Manchester, NH), 57-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pelham upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Pythons travel to Timberlane (Plaistow, NH) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 1-15. Timberlane lost 54-36 in their recent league bout against Manchester Central (Manchester, NH)

Next up, the Blue Knights play the Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH) in a Division II bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Manchester West will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Sabers come into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 53-44 league loss to Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH).
