Michigan High School Basketball - Reading can't hold off Maple Valley

The Maple Valley Lions basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Reading Rangers to 51 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reading for a Big 8 contest on Monday, February 19. Maple Valley will battle a Rangers team coming off a 55-51 league loss to Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI). The Rangers record now stands at 4-15.

The Rangers (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI). The Lions come into the Big 8 contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Maple Valley edged Reading (Reading, MI), 55-51, in a league contest.
