The Mapleton Mounties basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Western Reserve Roughriders to 48 in the Mounties league victory on Friday.

The Mounties now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Mapleton will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 63-38 league loss to Genoa Christian Academy (Westerville, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-9.

The Roughriders (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Edison (Milan, OH). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Edison prevailed over Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH), 62-49, in a league contest.
