Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY) and the host Natrona County Mustangs (Casper, WY), saw Thunder Basin's basketball squad hold off Natrona County by a tally of 52-49.

With the victory, Thunder Basin improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Bolts host Sheridan (Sheridan, WY) to play the Broncs in a 4A Northeast challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Broncs come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Sheridan won 77-53 in their recent league challenge against Campbell County (Gillette, WY)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Kelly Walsh Trojans (Casper, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Natrona County will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 46-38 league loss to Cody (Cody, WY).
