White Lake Lakers (White Lake, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Northland Lutheran Wildcats (Mosinee, WI), 49-45 in a league bout.

With the win, White Lake upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Lakers travel to Crandon (Crandon, WI) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 7-16.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Pittsville Panthers (Pittsville, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 19. Northland Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 62-43 league loss to Port Edwards (Port Edwards, WI).
