Maryland High School Basketball - Paint Branch topples Sherwood

In Friday's league outing, the Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) basketball squad beat the visiting Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD), by a margin of 66-57.

The Panthers (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 2-17 record. In their last outing, Wheaton was beaten by Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD), 74-48, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now own a 17-5 record. They play next when they host Magruder for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 20. Sherwood will clash with a Colonels squad coming off a 65-52 league win over Damascus (Damascus, MD). The Colonels record now stands at 19-2.
