The Simley Spartans basketball team (Inver Grove Heights, MN), was overwhelmed 83-56 in Friday's league battle with the visiting St. Thomas Academy Cadets (Mendota Heights, MN)
The Cadets now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 20. St. Thomas Academy will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 88-77 non-league loss to Roseville (Roseville, MN). The Wolfpack record now stands at 11-10.
The Spartans (4-19) will now prepare for their battle against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs come into the non-league battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, Mahtomedi trounced Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN), 76-39, in a non-league battle.
