The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN) basketball knocked off the host Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers (Westbrook, MN), 65-48 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN). The Patriots go into the A Section 3 test with a 14-10 record. In their last test, Hills-Beaver Creek went down by Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN), 56-55, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now own a 3-22 record. They play next when they travel to Edgerton for a A Section 3 test on Tuesday, February 20. Westbrook-Walnut Grove will encounter a Flying Dutchmen squad coming off a 64-61 league loss to Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 5-19.
