Redford Union Panthers (Redford, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Annapolis Cougars (Dearborn Heights, MI), 29-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Redford Union upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Divine Child (Dearborn, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-16. Divine Child lost 71-30 in their recent non-league bout against Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI)

Next up, the Cougars play the Lutheran Warriors (Westland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Annapolis will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record.
