The Davis-Romoth Wolves thwarted the host Aqqaluk Bears basketball team by a score of 71-55 in Friday's league battle.
The Wolves now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martin L Olson for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 17. Davis-Romoth will battle a Lynx team coming off a 76-39 league loss to Shaktoolik (Shaktoolik, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 4-2.
The Bears (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Davis-Romoth (Selawik, AK). The Wolves come into the 1A Northwest Arctic battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Davis-Romoth prevailed over McQueen (Kivalina, AK), 56-39, in a league battle.
