In Friday's league outing, the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) basketball squad edged the visiting Athens Indians (Athens, MI), by a margin of 41-38.
The Fighting Tigers (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI). The Panthers go into the Southern Central outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Climax-Scotts held off Bellevue (Bellevue, MI), 44-15, in a league outing.
