The Climax-Scotts Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Bellevue Broncos to 15 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Philip Catholic Central for a Southern Central contest on Tuesday, February 20. Climax-Scotts will battle a Fighting Tigers team coming off a 41-38 league win over Athens (Athens, MI). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 8-9.

The Broncos (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Colon (Colon, MI). The Magi enter the Southern Central contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Colon was routed by Brandywine (Niles, MI), 70-44, in a non-league contest.
