The Carrizozo Grizzlies basketball team (Carrizozo, NM), was overwhelmed 70-28 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Corona/Vaughn Cardinals (Corona, NM)
The Cardinals now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grady for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 17. Corona/Vaughn will confront a Bronchos team coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Dora (Dora, NM). The Bronchos record now stands at 10-12.
The Grizzlies (7-18) will now prepare for their battle against Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 19-4 record. In their last battle, Jemez Valley trounced Coronado (Gallina, NM), 59-16, in a league battle.
