Arkansas High School Basketball - Jonesboro overwhelmed by Conway

The Conway Wampus Cats basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Jonesboro Hurricane to 38 in the Wampus Cats league victory on Friday.
The Wampus Cats now sport a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little Rock Southwest for a 6A Central contest on Tuesday, February 20. Conway will battle a Gryphons team coming off a 68-28 league loss to Central (Little Rock, AR). The Gryphons record now stands at 8-10.
The Hurricane (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cabot (Cabot, AR). The Panthers come into the 6A Central contest with a 24-5 record. In their last contest, Cabot triumphed over Bryant (Bryant, AR), 52-35, in a league contest.
