The Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) basketball knocked off the host Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN), 59-49 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds go into the non-league test with a 6-17 record. In their last test, Moorhead went down by DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN), 90-39, in a non-league test.

The Sabers now own a 9-15 record. They play next when they host Prior Lake for a AAAA Section 2 test on Tuesday, February 20. Shakopee will encounter a Lakers squad coming off a 67-48 non-league loss to Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 12-12.
