The Eagle Point Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Thurston Colts to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crater for a 5A Midwestern match on Tuesday, February 20. Eagle Point will meet a Comets team coming off a 84-23 league win over Churchill (Eugene, OR). The Comets record now stands at 20-2.

With the defeat, Thurston moves to 6-14 on the year. The Colts host Springfield (Springfield, OR) to meet the Millers in a 5A Midwestern match on Tuesday, February 20. The Millers enter the match with a record of 15-8. Springfield lost 74-42 in their recent non-league match against Clackamas (Clackamas, OR)
