Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY) and the visiting Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY), saw Jackson County's basketball squad knock off Harlan County by a count of 80-70.

With the victory, Jackson County upgrades its record to 17-9 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY) to play the Colonels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 15-11.

Next up, the Black Bears play the Lynn Camp Wildcats (Corbin, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Harlan County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-22 record after their 44-14 non-league loss to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY).
