The Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) basketball crushed the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 67-8 in Friday's league test.
The Storm (7-17) will now prepare for their test against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars go into the 3A Mid-State test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Rockingham County walloped Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC), 42-36, in a league test.
The Bison now own a 0-23 record. They play next when they travel to Ben L. Smith for a 3A Mid-State test on Tuesday, February 20. High Point Central will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 71-23 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 21-2.
