In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Johnston Panthers basketball squad scored a big 48-27 victory over the Providence Country Day Knights.

With the victory, Johnston improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign.

Next up, the Knights play the Block Island (New Shoreham, RI) in a Division 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Providence Country Day will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record.
