Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ), 44-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morris Knolls upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Montville (Montville, NJ) to clash with the Mustangs in a Northwest Jersey - National bout on Saturday, February 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-13. Montville lost 56-51 in their recent non-league bout against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ)

Next up, the Devils clash with the West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 19. Morris County Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 18-4 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 17-7 record after their 60-48 non-league loss to Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ).
