St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 54-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Charles upgrades its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bullock Creek (Midland, MI) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 8-11. Bullock Creek lost 39-35 in their recent non-league bout against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI)

Next up, the Irish play the Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Sacred Heart Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 62-31 league win over Farwell (Farwell, MI).
