The Saint James Trojans basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Sumter Central Jaguars to 33 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumter Central for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Saint James will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 60-26 non-league win over Beulah (Valley, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-6.
The Jaguars (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Saint James (Montgomery, AL). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 22-5 record. In their last contest, Saint James triumphed over Trinity Presbyterian (Montgomery, AL), 55-42, in a non-league contest.
