The Santa Fe Trail Chargers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Wellsville Eagles to 31 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.
The Chargers now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anderson County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Santa Fe Trail will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-39 non-league loss to Prairie View (La Cygne, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-2.
The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie View (La Cygne, KS). The Buffalos come into the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Prairie View prevailed over Anderson County (Garnett, KS), 49-39, in a non-league contest.
