The Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI) basketball felled the visiting Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI), 63-43 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (13-6) will now prepare for their test against South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Sailors go into the Ottawa-Kent - Gold test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, South Christian thwarted Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI), 64-31, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Kenowa Hills for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold test on Tuesday, February 20. Thornapple Kellogg will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 59-17 league win over Forest Hills Eastern (Ada, MI). The Knights record now stands at 13-6.
