Torrington Trailblazers (Torrington, WY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY), 38-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Torrington upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Newcastle (Newcastle, WY) to play the Dogies in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Dogies come into the bout with a record of 9-9. Newcastle lost 56-11 in their recent non-league bout against Douglas (Douglas, WY)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rawlins Outlaws (Rawlins, WY) in a 3A Southeast bout, on Saturday, February 17. Wheatland will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Outlaws come into the bout with a 2-17 record after their 84-15 league loss to Douglas (Douglas, WY).
