Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bears confront the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Pierce County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA).

The Pirates now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tattnall County for a 2A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 20. Appling County will confront a Warriors team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
