The Chattooga Indians smashed the visiting Dalton Academy Pumas soccer squad by a margin of 5-0 in Friday's non-league match.
The Indians now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Darlington for a 1A D-I Region 7 match on Monday, February 19. Chattooga will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Dalton Academy drops to 0-4 on the season. The Pumas host Pepperell (Lindale, GA) to encounter the Dragons in a 1A D-I Region 7 match on Tuesday, February 20. The Dragons come into the match with a record of 1-2. Pepperell lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Woodland (Cartersville, GA)
