In Friday's league game, the A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX), by a final score of 8-0.
The Tigers (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Cubs enter the 5A Region 3 District 21 challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Brenham was overwhelmed by Magnolia (Magnolia, TX), 2-0, in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rudder for a 5A Region 3 District 21 challenge on Tuesday, February 20. Magnolia West will confront a Rangers team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Montgomery (Montgomery, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 0-13.
