The crowd at Friday's league test between the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) and the visiting Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), saw Cooper's soccer squad beat Lubbock by a count of 4-0.

The Cougars now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Coronado for a 5A Region 1 District 4 test on Tuesday, February 20. Cooper will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 0-0 league Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Lubbock drops to 1-10 on the season. The Westerners host Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to meet the Plainsmen in a 5A Region 1 District 4 test on Tuesday, February 20. The Plainsmen come into the test with a record of 8-6. Monterey won 4-1 in their recent league test against Cooper (Abilene, TX)
