In Friday's league bout, the host Martin Warriors soccer team scored a tight 1-0 win over the South Grand Prairie Warriors.
With the win, Martin moves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lamar (Arlington, TX) to battle the Vikings in a 6A Region 1 District 8 bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Lamar won 5-0 in their recent league bout against Haltom (Haltom City, TX)
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region 1 District 8 bout, on Friday, March 1. South Grand Prairie will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record.
