Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) fans went home satisfied Friday as they saw their ice hockey squad knock off the host Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI), 3-0 in a league outing.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 2 outing, on Monday, February 19. Rogers will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record. The Chieftains go into the outing with a 15-2 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI).

With the defeat, Cranston West drops to 7-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to confront the Lions in a Division 2 outing on Saturday, February 17. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 5-11. Lincoln lost 6-3 in their recent league match against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI)
