In Friday's non-league outing, the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad beat the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), by a margin of 61-42.
The Hornets (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 1-6 record.
The Pirates now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Belen for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 20. Grants will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 60-53 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 9-9.
