Next, the Ricebirds confront the Wharton Tigers (Wharton, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 22 challenge, on Monday, February 19. El Campo will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Palacios (Palacios, TX).

The Blackcats now have a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calhoun for a 4A Region 3 District 22 challenge on Tuesday, February 20. Bay City will confront a Sandcrabs team coming off a 11-0 league win over Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Sandcrabs record now stands at 15-4.
