Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats face the Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Sherman will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 4-3 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, TX).

The Yellow Jackets now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Princeton for a 5A Region 2 District 13 challenge on Friday, February 23.
